Sexual Reproduction
2 parents, occurs in some eukaryotes
- 2 parents
- Occurs in some eukaryotes, some eukaryotes are asexual
- Genetically diverse (not alike)
- Many different traits
- Able to adapt to changes in the environment
- Happens slowly and less likely to overpopulate
- Most animal
- Some plants - A few examples are; tomatoes, ferns, pansy, patunias, marigolds, peas and beans
- Animals - most
- Fungi - mushrooms (remember: yeast are asexual)
