Simple Machines
A simple machine makes the work easier. It doesn't change the amount of work, it only makes the work easier.
Example: The farmer pays you to move five bales of hay. Work = 5 bales of hay.
You use a simple machine, such as a ramp of pulley to make your work easier in getting the hay onto the back of the truck.
